During my lovely stay, I was impressed by the breathtaking view of the majestic Arenal Volcano visible from my balcony, along with the delightful self-service breakfast featuring fresh fruit, coffee, and a cozy dining area amidst beautiful gardens.

Minor maintenance issues.

The breakfast options were delightful and filling.

Unfortunately, my stay was marred by several issues. The room I stayed in had poor lighting, making it difficult to feel comfortable. Additionally, I experienced trouble with the toilet that required multiple flushes, and the shower had inconsistent water temperature, often running cold. To top it off, noise from a nearby bar made it impossible to relax after a long day of exploring.

The toilet didn't flush properly—imagine the inconvenience of multiple flushes!!! The lighting felt harsh and clinical. The key card was a pain to use!!! A mini fridge would really enhance the stay!!!

The rustic decor added charm to our Small Double Room, and the pool was a refreshing spot to unwind. The staff provided exceptional assistance, coordinating tours and helping us navigate the local area effortlessly. However, we encountered some minor maintenance issues, including a noisy toilet and inconsistent lighting. Additionally, the somewhat higher price for a basic room felt a bit off from expectations.

We loved the breathtaking view of the Arenal volcano from our balcony—truly picturesque! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful during our stay, enhancing our overall experience. Plus, the breakfast was delightful, offering various options that filled us up for our adventures ahead.

However, I found the surrounding noise from a nearby bar quite disruptive during my stay.

The hotel had a fantastic pool area that was great for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The grounds were beautifully landscaped, creating quiet spots to unwind. Any concerns about limited breakfast options were countered by the service's helpfulness in organizing tours and activities during our stay.

Sierra Arenal warmly welcomed me with cozy vibes, friendly service, delicious homemade breakfasts, and quaint animal companions adding charm. I felt truly at home during my visit.

Family with children recommend it for a cozy stay

The staff were friendly, like they actually cared. Every morning they served a personalized breakfast, I even got extra pancakes one day just because I asked nicely. I had a nice big room and it was comfy for the family with enough space for everyone.

It wasn’t cheap but still acceptable.

Powerful AC, great shared kitchen, but wish there was more parking space.
